How do I create a full-width header? My printer is still showing white edges.

I'm trying to create a set of master pages with a full-width black header and my company's logo on it.  It looks good on the screen but when I go to print it, I have about 1/4" or so on both sides of the black area that are white on paper.  Is there a way to have this print completely black across?

Here's an example of how it looks in InDesign:

Here it is on paper:

Thanks!

Unless you have a printer capable of borderless printing, this is not possible from ANY application.

This is typically done with oversized paper and trimming it.
