Hello my Adobe Guru extraordinaires,
I am using Adobe InDesign CC 2015.
I am not sure what the Tab and Comma choices do when I select the Convert Text to Table option.
Can anyone explain?
Thanks
Those settings determine how your text is converted.
If you have tabbed text in single-line paragraphs, you would want your column separator set to tab and your row separator set to paragraph.

SJRiegel thanks.
So, if I have a line of text that has a Tab Separate then I would choose Convert to Table and select Tab... it would separate the rows between the Tabs... This would go for the paragraphs and the commas as well.... That makes sense.
Thank you

A chapter 'Convert text to a table' here should explain it to you...
