Import from Aperture

Is it possible to import an Aperture Library into Lightroom from a Windows PC over a network, or must I do that using a Mac instance of Lightroom?  If the latter, can I install Lightroom on both during my trial period?

No, you can't import from Aperture on PC. The import plugin only works on Mac.

You are allowed two installations, so yes to the other question.
