When exporting an InDesign CC book file (.indb) to EPUB, how do I create a TOC style that will show up in the “TOC Style” dropdown menu in the “Navigation TOC” section of the “General” window of the “EPUB Reflowable Layout Export Options” window when “Navigation TOC” is set to “Multi Level (TOC Style)” ?
The well hidden secret to this is that the TOC Style for EPUB must be defined in the book file that is designated as the Style Source. Style Source is indicated by checking the left column in the INDB window. Once you do this, the TOC style will show in the EPUB options. Adding, changing or deleting TOC styles in other book documents will not effect EPUB options.
