Transfer weeks of work to a new computer

Amature bird photographer I set up folders and sub-folders for over 800 birds on Lightroom i.e. Birds of Prey subfolder Hawks sub Red-Tailed hawks. It took me weeks. Now I need to move that work to another computer. Please help. I use Lightroom a lot but I am soooooo far from an export. would going PC to a mac be possible?
