Font menue not convenient, how to change it?

Hello,

I want to see how text looks in (with?) different fonts. So I select the text, then choosing the first font in the font list (starting with A) and scroll down with the arrow key - I see 'live'  changing of the font of the selected text. But ... as long as the font is NOT in the previous used fonts list above the regular list. Because then it starts again with this font - from the previous used font list.

Is is usable or convenient? For me not...

And change to change this behavior via an extension?

Greetings,

Claus
