Okay I have composed a disc with PhotoStory and it is a WMV file, I did download it into Premier Elements 12, but noticed that some of my audio files may have been Mp4s. Wondering if that might have been the problem with the disc?  Below are the specs for the player.

  • Insignia NS-BRDVD3 1080p Upscaling Blu-ray Disc DVD
         Player General Features: Black color
  • Region 1 and Region A
  • Upconvert standard DVDs to HDTV compliant 720p, 1080i
or 1080p via the HDMI interface
  • Plays BD-ROM discs Backwards compatible with DVD,
         DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD and CD-R/RW discs
  • Compatible with MP3 and WMA formats

Not all of the WMA and ACC
Audio formats are compatible with your player. Player does not support files
that are recorded with GMC (Global Motion Compensation) or Qpel (Quarter
pixel). Progressive and lossless compression photo image files are not supported

Usually it plays with AVI
format.

It also work for WMV

I also received some information that DVD-R will work finalized in VR mode only Standard Version 2.0  I have no idea if Adobe PE finalized in that format??

All of that said might someone be able to tell me if I can burn another disc and get it to work? I would like to use a Verbatim DVD-R data life plus disc

Any insight or help would be great.

Ann,

I have never made an "iso" before, when I go to publish and share do I select DVD and burn to folder, or do I select AVCHD and burn to folder?

Than once it is in the folder can I just "right click" and select "burn" to disk?

Also can you enlighten me as to what finalize in "VR mode" is and how do I accomplish it?

Thanks

I had a look at E12 but there is only dvd or folder to choose from.

Yes you can burn a folder to disk.

But my point was to test it first on the computer before burning it to disk.

You could use a dvd-rw.

This saves on coasters.
