Lightroom 6.0 [freezes on start up]

Suddenly after 12 months use the program freezes on start up

We are currently at Lightroom 6.7(latest version), so if you can then please update it to the latest version and try it.

If you can't update to the latest then, can you please describe the problem in more details, like when you are opening lightroom it is opening up the start up screen and then becoming unresponsive or it is opening some module and then becoming unresponsive.

Hi neilb,

With Lightroom closed

• Navigate to

    C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences    (Where AppData is a hidden/system folder so you may need to enter the folder name directly into your Explorer address bar or enable hidden/system folders in Explorer folder view options.)

• Open the file LightroomPreferences.agprefs
• Search for the line Use autobahn=True(Press CTRL+F)
• Change it to Use Autobahn=False

Once Done save the File

Restart Lightroom
