sending individual pdfs from a large file - How?

We get a lot of large files with construction drawings. How do you pick out pages to e mail separately? Do we need a certain version of Adobe? Thanks for any help.

Using Adobe Acrobat (​not Acrobat Reader) you can extract pages to a new file and then email them on their own.
