Rotated vector links in InDesign

what kind of file type is the linked vector graphic?
What is the creator app?

The linked vector is an .ai file (CS6). My workaround was to just paste the vectors directly into the InDesign doc, which displays fine, but just curious why the display is getting wacked out, or at least let folks know about the possible bug.

I was wondering if it was outlined because at first glance, it appeared like the snap to pixel grid option had somehow activated in the linked file preview. I would expect to see this kind of transformation glitch in Illustrator natively, not in a linked preview in InDesign.

Sorry, haven't had a chance to get files up. No effects, just plain vectors. Only the curved portions are affected. One interesting thing: when rotated at any angle other than -90˚ (-89.9 or -90.1 or +90˚ for instance) it displays fine (and every once in a while it will display -90˚ OK). I'm getting the same result with other vectors as well. And if I set up a new InDesign file, it doesn't seem to happen. But with other InDesign files that are, or were formerly, CS6 InDesign files, it does it with other vectors, even brand-new ones ... so it seems so far, for me anyway, that InDesign files with some CS6 DNA do not like to display curved vectors properly when rotated at precisely -90˚ (most of the time).
