For some reason, when I go to record a sequence I get a message "The selcted audio device has no input channels available. Do you want to open the audio hardware preferences?" When I click on preferences the window comes up but no matter what I do, I still can not record. Any ideas? I have made many recordings previously.

He's on customer visits this week...maybe try some of the advice Dan is giving here?

Re: "Sample rate is not supported by the current audio device"

If not, can you please post screenshots of your audio prefs in CH and your OS?

  • Try closing all other programs. Sometimes another program with mic input conflicts with CH and can cause this.
  • Try restarting. It's possible Ch remembered an old setup that is no longer valid.
  • Check your system sound preferences and try making changes there.

Thanks for your quick reply. OK, tried that to no effect. Can we do another remote session?

Did someone else on the team do that with you before? I've never done one and don't know how to...
