I bought LR5 on my Macbook a few years ago and I want to activate LR5 on my iMac

I read that I can register my product by going to Help>Lightroom Registration. I did this twice and Adobe support said it did not work. When the registration prompts the serial key it looks like a serial number has already been put in and shows dots like a password. There is a green checkmark that shows it as a good number. Anyway I am lost on what to do. I bought the software fair and square and all I want to do is activate it on another computer. Help.

Don't you have a record of the serial number?

You can find it on your hard drive.
