There is no AE 2016. The release that came out around the time people expected CC 2016 was called CC 2015.3. No, I don't know why.
But, yes! You can download lots of versions. You can install CS6, CC, CC 2014, CC 2015, CC 2015.3, and CC 2017 all alongside each other on the same computer with no problems. I just wouldn't recommend trying to use them all at the same time!
Details on installing older versions here.

What processor are you using? How much RAM do you have? What GPU?
And, most importantly, what is in your composition? Does this happen in any composition all the time or just one particular comp? What happens if you preview via the 0 key on your numeric keypad?

I use a
Macbook Pro 15' Late 2013
Processor: 2,3 GHz Intel Core i7
with 16 GB Ram 1600MHz DDR3 (Setting 12GB dedicated to adobe, 4GB to other software)
GPU:NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB
Now with OS Sierra
The project is a parallax project with special format: 1080 x 1134 (something like 4/3 HD)
I have tried with other project when the project have some file HD crash if the project is simply AE works
The problem was born 2 days ago, the day before I had installed a bluetooth Headphone (Sony) everything works. I reopen the project, After effects crash. I delete the setting, I reopen the project, i press space bar (after few seconds) AE Crash again...
I Uninstall the Headphone and AE crash, I upgrade OS to Sierra AE Crash, I uninstall AE and Reinstall it, After effect Crash Again.
I just discovered that! When I create a new project and import the same project, the project work. But I'dont know if it really work and also if works again the next time.
Sorry for english
Thanks for help

There have been some reports of Bluetooth audio devices causing issues. I would suggest removing them from your system, resetting your AE preferences, and then carry on working with your new project.

And, if going into your preferences causes a crash, see the section regarding it here.
