Adjustment Brush Tootl Spinning & Spinning

Hi,

First off - I am new to Lightroom CC.  I am trying to learn how to use the adjustment brush.  My frustration is that it is so slow just trying to fill an object in.  I don't know if it's my computer (8G Ram), my internet connection or I'm doing something incorrectly.  Trying to learn something when it takes forever to do anything is not helpful.  And actually even trying to view my photos once imported is slow as well.  I've watched my CPU usage as I have been working and it has gone as high as 82%.

Thanks for any help!

To see if its a GPU issue: try the following

When Lightroom is able to use the GPU, you'll find that the Use Graphics Processor checkbox is selected in Preferences > Performance. Disable and see if it resolves your problem.

Mac OS:

  • Lightroom > Preferences > Performance

Windows:

  • Edit > Preferences > Performance
