I'd love to buy Lightroom as a gift for someone.  I've read that I can buy gift cards for the Creative Cloud but I'm wondering if it is possible to purchase a stand alone copy of LIghtroom 6 for someone else?

Thank you!

Yes, you purchase Lightroom 6 from Amazon.com or other third party resellers. You can purchase it directly from Adobe online, but I'm not sure how you would transfer the Adobe ID and password to a new user. Hopefully someone else can shed light on that one.

Thanks, Jim.  Yeah, I was hoping to be able to just purchase online but not too worried.  Appreciate the answer.
