keywords on exported photos

I added keywords to photos that were exported.  I did this by accident.  I selected the folder that had the exported folders to do my keyword inputting. Now I would like to get the key words added to the original photo.  How do I do this? Thanks.

If you have many such photos and manually re-keywording looks daunting, the Syncomatic plugin might help.
