Try trashing your InDesign preferences:

Close and relaunch InDesign, and IMMEDIATELY hold down Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or Cmd + Ctrl + Opt + Shift (Mac), and respond in the affirmative to the dialog asking if you really want to replace the preferences. You must be extremely fast on the keyboard (if you don’t see the confirmation prompt, you were too slow!)

You may have to do it a couple of times before you get the hang of it.

Try this: Uninstall InDesign using the dropdown gear in the Creative Cloud App (see screen shot), run Adobe Cleaner Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems  And reinstall InDesign.

Hi,

What were you doing in the document when InDesign crashed? Please upgrade to 12.0.0 and see if you face similar crashes.

Is it document specific crash?

Are you working with network documents?

Hi,

Can you please provide more information when the crash occurs next time:

Error message or Alert message screenshot(if any)

Does the issue happen if files are on local disk(non-network location)?

Any loss of connectivity while working on document(s)?

Regards

Sanyam Talwar
