Hello,

I have multiple documents, different sizes and/or color modes, that all have the same links. Is there a way to update a link across all open documents? Using Latest cloud (17 i think?)

thanks!

Try Kasyan Servetsky script.

One version you can find on his website here.

Another version - here, see post 7.

Approach is a bit different, result is the same - you get links updated

Rather old, surprisingly, still works in ID2017 (just tested).

"that all have the same links"

And how the program can tell if the link is 'the same'? Right, because it has identical name...

You omitted the root of your question, I'm afraid...

If the only difference is file extension, then it can be relinked via UI and maybe - scripted.
You better ask in scripting forum, then.

I also wrote a script for batch relinking images whose basic names are the same, but extensions are different -- Update path names in links.
