Hey...I'm really confused with this CC thing. I downloaded the Sketch app on my iPad, it says some feature are only available if I upgraded. So - after going through all the different CC options, what do I need to purchase to upgrade the Sketch app. I looked through the CC purchase levels, yet I don't see the Sketch app listed in any of them.

Thanks...Erik

Hi Erik.

I'm suspecting that the thing that's confusing you about Creative Cloud are the "premium features" alerts you're seeing in Sketch that are calling attention to features that may, at some point, only be available to Creative Cloud subscribers. Is that it? The first time people use those features, an alert pops up just to let them know that they might not always be available to "everyone" forever.  But, right now they are (and we'd never take them away from non-Creative Cloud subscribers

But, right now they are (and we'd never take them away from non-Creative Cloud subscribers without ample warning).

If that's what's confusing you... Don't worry. There is only one version of Sketch and there's nothing you need to do.

Does that help?

Sue.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know. I have no problem paying for good apps, but I was hoping I wouldn't need to pay $120 a year for the CC just to use this one.

Erik,

About the only thing you won't be able to do without any type of Creative Cloud subscription is bring Photoshop CC brushes into Sketch (that requires the very latest version of Photoshop).
