problem installing lightroom cc 2015.8

im running mac osx 10.9.5 and the creative cloud app insists to offer to install LR cc 2015.8

after trying two times unsuccessfully i search for system requirements

this last update is not supported in mavericks

so, end for LR updates in mavericks ?

why offering an update not supported ?

Please see here for the relevant System Requirements for Lightroom: System requirements for Photoshop Lightroom for Mac and Windows OS

Under macOS, it specifically says: "macOS 10.12, 10.11, or 10.10 **" with the following notes: "** Lightroom CC 2015.1/Lightroom 6.1 and earlier versions are supported on Mac OS X 10.8 and Lightroom CC 2015.6.1/Lightroom 6.6.1 and earlier are supported on Mac OS X 10.9."

The above notes in bold are the Lightroom versions that will work on your OS version.
