URL structure with paths

Hi everyone,

how can you get a clean url structure with paths to put pages into subcategories? For example to get the structure to look like what you would find all just about every web that has more then 1 lay deep subpages:

mydoamin.com

mydoamin.com/service

mydoamin.com/service/product 1

mydoamin.com

mydoamin.com/partners

mydoamin.com/partners/partnername

in muse inside the plan section it shows pages have a structure but its only visual and doesn't export I guess? Because when your export the muse site every page in coming out as a separate root file, and when you have 5-10 products per categories the URL doesn't come out in a very friendly way is come out like this:

mydoamin.com/service

mydoamin.com/product 1

mydoamin.com/partners

mydoamin.com/partnername

Muse makes the file structure it needs and for the most part puts images in the "images" folder and everything else in the "assets" folder but you can add your own folders into the host site and then ftp (I like Dreamweaver for this task) files into them as long as you tell muse where to find them after the upload.

no automatic way to get this done then, shame that should get added on the next update, muse won't over ride the url or anything weird if adding them manually in the hyperlink section rather then click on the page name in the drop down box then? You would have to manually update the sitemap also then with the folders correct?

muse is for people that don't want to learn code. Adobe already has Dreamweaver or Brackets for people to play with code or you can use the "insert html" tool to do it manual or in browser editing (& BC portal tools)... there is no need to add it into another muse update.

not if you do it right;

• Make a site in muse and publish it then use dreamweaver to pull a local copy down and add your php pages.
• ftp the php pages up to the host with Dreamweaver
• open muse and republish the site after adding whatever "insert html" or hyperlink codes you need to use the php pages in your site

it depends on what you want the php pages for... Muse will not mess with them unless you tell it to and in the case of php you are very safe because Muse doesn't make them anyway.

Thanks so much, sorry why wold you need to make php file and not use the HTML files muse creates?

php pages are outdated but mainly used for making mysql interfaces... I don't use them in any of my Muse sites but I do like [old school] htm pages for my iframes and thats another page type muse doesn't create
