Indesgn CC 2015 Installation issue on macOS sierra 10.12.2

Adobe indesign cc 2015 downloaded from Technology Partners

error displayed after running the installation file says "Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to missing file. Please download adobe Support advisor to detect the problem."

When tried downloading the adobe support advisor, the url says "The adobe support advisor has been discontinued."

The same problem was faced on another macOS sierra version 10.12.1.

please help.

Hi,

The issue is specific to MacOS Sierr 10.12. Please download Adobe InDesign CC 2015 from Technology Partners on MacOS 10.11 or below and copy the builds to MACOS 10.12.1, it should get installed successfully.

The issue is solved, I installed creative cloud and installed a previous version through it. which apparently worked fine.
