downloading lightroom 6

Hello can someone help me i have Lightroom 4 on my computer and just purchased 6 for some reason i have to install it every single time i use it. Its not replacing the one I have now

Lightroom 6 will not overwrite Lightroom 4 - so you now have both versions installed.

You need to click the shortcut for LR6 to open LR6 - it seems that you are clicking the shortcut for LR4.
