Lightroom CC 2015.8 - remove rejected photos bug

I updated Lightroom CC2015 to 2015.8 last week and since then, removing rejected photos (not manually selecting and removing photos) causes the app to crash/freeze. I'm on iMac 5K 2015, running latest El Cap. Can anyone else replicate this error, or is it just me?

Photo>Delete Rejected Photos> Remove

The last rejected photo stays on the screen, unable to switch modules, only closing and reopening the app fixes it.

As a wedding shooter, it's making my cull much slower!!

Hi Wendya,

This is known issue and we are investigating it.

Current workaround is to go back to the library module before you delete the rejected images. You can do that easily by hitting the G key.

Are you doing this from Develop? If so press G to go back to the library grid and delete the rejects from there.
