Add custom character in paragraph rule or define custom Stroke - LOCKED

is there a way to define paragraph-rule or stroke style that can accept custom character like a,b,c,d,A,@..... etc ??

Maybe you could try to describe what you're trying to do. There's no way to do what you asked but maybe it could be accomplished another way.

Also tell us what version of InDesign and which operating system you're running.
