After Effects se cierra modificando preferencias

Intento modificar las preferencias del programa After Effects y se cierra dando el siguiente mensaje:

there is a bug related to that : Known issues in After Effects CC 2017 see the workaround there to delete your preferences file forcing Ae to regenerate it.
