Can anyone help me? Trying to put a drop shadow on an image (.psd file) in indesign, however when i do it puts a drop shadow around the whole box. I have tried to do this to serval different images in the document and it is doing it on all of them. I have attached an image to show you what I mean. Any suggestions? You could try restoring your InDesign preferences:

Trash, Replace, Reset, or Restore the application Preferences

This is a transparent PSD file, right? Give us a screen capture which shows the Effects panel when you've selected the image and applied the effect.
