We have recently had our data migrated from an Apple server to a Windows SMB, by our IT Dept., and in the process we restructured our folder structure slightly, this has obviously broken many of our Indesign links, but now we do not seem to be able to search the SMB drive from within the Adobe apps to find the missing links. Is there a solution that will allow us to do so, it is also an issue with the other CC apps?

Thanks for the speedy response and I yes understand that, but unfortunately in an enterprise situation where many users need access to thousands of the same brand assets at any given time we need to use, and have for the last fifteen or so years, a server based system.

So does this mean that aswell as being not recommending, that there is no solution to an in-app SMB search?

It used to work perfectly fine when the data was stored on our X-serve setup.
