Hello..when I used to overlap two anchor points there was this indication that said "anchor" next to the pen tool cursor, the same thing happened with the paths..that doesn't happen anymore, Any idea how can I fix that please?

It sounds like yo need to turn smart guides back on. View>smart guides

or Cmnd-u on a Ma, cntrl-u on a PC
