OSX text exchange in InDesign?

Hi there Power-Users,

im on a german client, i dont know the exact wording, but is it possible to use the OSX text-exchanges somehow in InDesign? Throu a Preference, PlugIn or StartUpScript?

Thank you Michael, but…that seems like Adobe tries to replace the OSX feature, but not as powerful.

In InDesign, im bound to not using special charaters. That makes it difficult to exclude unwanted substitutions.

Also I cant place long text snippets, mabe 50 chars or less. 😞
