Package links folder have multiple sub folders

Hi,

When i create package in InDesign CS6, links folder have many sub folders instead of separate images. Attached screen grab for easy reference.

Please help me.

What's in those folders?

Inside folders, we have .eps images. See below:

Might this be files included in some link? Say link in indesign is A.eps which includes B.eps. So the B.eps would appear inside those subfolders of the links folder.

No. This particular file is single file.

This is part of a packaged book by any chance? I've never seen this before.
