Saving of pdf file is very slow

I have Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for Mac. I did an update.

Now, the saving of the file is very slow because of optimizing to view for web  .

So I updated Adobe Reader. Now, there are some pdfs that I can not open.

Can you help.

Could you please try to change the following setting and see if that changes anything:

Launch Acrobat>click Edit>Preferences>Documents>uncheck the box next to Save As optimizes for Fast Web View>OK
