embedding a .swf movie clip

I'm new to RoboHelp and I'd like to embed a .swf file into a help page. I got a first version working. But the problem is that the movie automatically plays when the page comes up. It plays once from start to finish. I'd like to add controls that let the user start, pause, and restart the movie.

Is there a way to add controls like this in RoboHelp? Or do the controls have to be built into the movie?

If the controls have to be built into the movie, is this something Captivate has included in it?

Thanks.

Hi there

I see you mention Captivate. Does that mean this flash file was created using Captivate? If so, Captivate does offer objects you may use to control flow. (Buttons and Click Boxes) You may also use a playback control.

Without knowing more about your situation, it's hard to say what you should do.

Cheers... Rick
