Hi All,
I've recently installed the newest version of After Effects 2017 (v.14.0.1.5) and I believe I'm correct in assuming that Cinema 4D lite is meant to be installed alongside it? I've just exported a file into Cinema 4D and a message pops up saying that my "Demo version has expired" and that I have to buy the full version. Upon looking in my applications folder on my IMac, I noticed that I did NOT have the C4D lite file, but rather a demo version.
Upon doing some research I found that I could register for a lite version at www.lite.maxon.net/aftereffects, but in order to do this I need an ID number. So I'm confused, does AE CC 2017 come with a version of C4D lite? Or is it just the demo version?
Should I uninstall my AE and reinstall?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
The C4D Lite that comes with After Effects does not install as a separate app on your computer. It must be launched from After Effects.
