Does After Effect and Photoshop have stopped supporting AMD GPU?

I'm planning to buy a new GPU for After Effect and Photoshop. I'm on a budget and I find rx 480 to be good price to performance card but when I looked at recent update of AE and PS, their system requirements, it confuses me.
