Will not launch (was posted inRe: issue with elements 15)

I have a launch issue with photoshop elements 15. I have downloaded it on the 24th of November. Could use it for a week and now it will nog launch. It says an unexpected issue has occurred, but I can not seem to open it. Installed all updates on my mac, deleted and reinstalled the program still nothing changed. The cmd shift option solution has not worked for my either. Very unhappy with the product at this point...

Have you downloaded PSE from App Store? Also, what is your OS version?

It's a brand new mac and PSE is downloaded from the App Store. The OS version is 10.12.2.

To resolve this issue, please keep Cmd + Shift + Option keys pressed while launching Editor.

A dialog will pop up asking to clean preference settings file. Say yes.

Let us know if the issue still persists.
