Trying to use LR 6.8 with Mac OS10.12.1Sierra. Since upgrading to Sierra, new current Photos not listed in Navigator, though does show old iPhoto files. Apple says Adobe hasn't written code for Sierra. How do I get around this?

If you go to the Catalog panel and choose “All Photographs” can you see them?

Or do you have more than one catalog? Try:

File >> Open Recent

After updating MacOS it is sometimes necessary to trash the prefs. Start by quitting Lightroom. Launch Finder and on the menu bar click “Go” whilst holding down the Optn(Alt) key and choose Library. Open the Preferences folder and trash the two plist files relating to LR6 (see image below)

Then re-launch Lightroom.

N.B. Apple hides the user Library until the Alt key is depressed.

Thanks for helping.  Done, but sorry, it didn't work.  Still showing only the old files.
