So you want to do an animated feature film—where do you start? Does the answer, "Adobe Animate" seem too obvious? Animation houses like Disney, Fox, Universal, Viacom, etc. have many custom systems for their specific kinds of animation projects. Studios like those have over 500 animation-related employees in numerous locations. But, Adobe Animate handles the complete project for smaller shops. Animate can be there for you from sketching up the preliminary idea, to roughing in the motion, to finishing the project. Here's a great example of the 2D rough-in development stage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AR-jIpZlvvc. You can do this in Adobe Animate CC.

You are quite welcome Preran. This is the kind of thing which can become a significant part of standard Animate project development

I don't understand the purpose of this thread. The first post is written like it's trying to sell something, but the linked video doesn't mention or show any Adobe products. Or any products at all for that matter.

Well, Clay, if you think of anything any of us can sell, please let us know, forward the contracts, but Janet & I have no monetary gain in mind for ANY of the forum posts or blogs we do. It's all about share what might inspire people. In this case we want to encourage people to use Animate to rough in the 2D comps and animate them.

That's an interesting point. There's been a fair amount of discussion on this topic.
Yes. Some of that talk is that Animate is not prepared to handle that kind of sketching.
There's also some conversation that it's better to do the sketch work in Photoshop or Adobe's mobile app, Sketch.
And, many advocate for a somewhat singular brush system which it implemented across:
…and all their related mobile apps.
