Pause until trigger release

is there a way to have cycle layers pause on a frame (let's say, hand goes up), stay that way as long as key is pressed, and then reverse when key is released (hand drops down)?

Alternatively, can a layer be triggered by a key release?  That could also accomplish what I'm looking for.

This may be ridiculously simple, but I've been playing with all sorts of permutations of the cycle layers and trigger settings and can't get the result i'm looking for.

Thank you!

Never mind.  It was indeed ridiculously simple.  "Hold on last layer".  Somehow I missed the checkbox every time.
