Lightroom 6 update

Hi, i have installed a standalone LR 6, when i go to update, it certainly does update, however, LR does not start.

message : api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-01-0.dll missing.

Have tried 3 time to remove and install with no luck.

any help please?

re-install C runtime may help https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=48145

That worked a treat.

I have version 6, now updated to Version 6.8, for some bizarre reason the 'C runtime' becomes corrupted after the update. Now working again, (never happened before after updates)
