OpenType “Adornment” on Text Frames

Why I don't have this OpenType features icon on my text frames (When using OpenType fonts, off course)?

And to see the option, you must have the update to CC 2017 (not available in earlier InDesign versions).

There are some bugs in the feature which have forced some people to turn off the option. The engineers are aware of the bugs.

Do you have frame edges visible for all frames?

View>extras>show frame edges. Shouldn't matter but it's something to check.

If all else fails, trash your preferences.

One of these bugs is adornment does not work when You are using world-ready paragraph composer.

The fact that this doesn't work with world-ready paragraph is a deal breaker, the kind of jobs that need world-ready are often the kind of jobs that need stylistic alternates as well (like mine.) How do we push for a bug fix for this?
