I am trying to add music to elements 14 premiere.  I keep getting this message The importer reported a generic error.  All my music is from itunes and i get the same message no matter what song I try to use.  Is there somthing i am doing wrong?

I'm with John. It sound like you're using iTunes music, which includes software that prevents you from using it in a video editing project.

You may also be able to "play" the iTunes on your computer while simultaneously recording it to a WAV with the shareware called Audacity.
