Lightroom 6 download?

I purchased Lightroom 6 (not CC) and have a serial number for it. I just purchased a new laptop and want to install. Went to My Account and Orders, and downloaded from that link.

Everything downloaded fine, but when I went to enter my serial number and I got this response in a yellow box:

This serial number is not for a qualifying product. Please try another.

Underneath there is a dropbox with a selection, however, the list of "qualifying products" is Lightroom 1-5!

What the heck is going on? I don't understand why this download from my account isn't working... can anyone help?

You have purchased an upgrade version of Lightroom 6. Installing requires the new serial number as well as the serial number from your previous version.
