I have just bought the Samyang 8mm f3.5 cs2 fisheye lens and tried to download the lens profile for my Lightroom v5.7 but cannot although I read it is available. Can I presume correctly that I cannot install this profile to my version of Lightroom? If not is there any other way of obtaining this lens profile?

Lens profiles are specific to the file format, and there are more profiles for raw images than for JPEG images. Could this apply in your case?

Thanks. As I thought. Fortunately the lens, as I see it, has very few issues. I am using raw images and I was only interested in automatically removing any slight chromatic aberration.

Now discovered it is so easy to correct this manually in Lightroom 5. Go to Develop + Color and tick “Remove Chromatic Aberration”. This removed slight fringing that I had at the edges and once done synced with all other images in the folder.

The sliders are also available if you wish to edit further.
