unbalanced unlock ( 7 :: 40 )

I have this error popping up every time I am using the track motion tool in after effects. The error states like above After Effects error: unbalanced unlock ( 7 :: 40 ), I have had to restart my computer three times because of this problem. Please Adobe fix this problem; until then what can I do to counter this issue?
