In photoshop C5 I can no longer print from computer A to printer A. I can print Word and Excel from computer A to printer A.

In photoshop CS5 can print from computer B using printer B.

Do I need to de-install CS5 and re-install it?

I have the discs but there doesn’t seem to be a way to start the process.

Does Printer A show in the list of printers available in CS5 Print dialog?  The closest version I have is CS6 and this what I get in my list. No printer is actually connect to my workstation the are either virtual printers of network printers. The Network printers show also in windows 10 devices and printers.

Is it any file, or just specific files?

Print settings are stored in the file as metadata. Maybe it got corrupted.

There is a new nifty keyboard command for resetting print settings, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was...but in the meantime you can try to copy/paste the file content into a new document, and try to print that. This should clear any print settings.
