HTML5 advert won't open

Hi,

I have created my HTML5 advert in Animate CC and published the HTML5 advert.

I have uploaded the .zip file to Adform to view the live preview which works great across multiple platforms. However when I send the same .zip file to my colleague, the HTML advert doesn't open.

Any suggestions?

No, only Chrome on two different PCs.

that's the problem, chrome.  have him use a different browser.

or you test using chrome.

Why am I able to open the advert in Chrome though and not them?

you can?

if you can, they should be able to unless you have different chrome versions.  compare the version numbers.  please post the results of that comparison.

We both are using the most up to date versions of Chrome.

I don't know if it is to do with the way I am packaging up the file or publishing it? When I send the .zip folder my colleague can't open it, however when they go into where the HTML file is saved on the network it opens fine.

there might be security issue when he opens locally on his computer.  that could occur if the local file is trying to contact something on the internet and you friend has some local settings that block that (while you do not).

in any case, the best way to test is with files uploaded to a file server because that's the way everyone else will be viewing your project.
