Lightroom has stopped working when I import photos

Everytime I import photos Lightroom will stop working and I get the error message that Lightroom has stopped working. I tried disabling GPU performance but the problem still persist. What can I do?

Thank you, but unfortunately I already did this. Seemed working fine for some time.
