Hi
I have a clip of my children pretending to make each other dissolve. I have managed (on a previous clip) to make one child dissolve by splitting the layer, freezing the frame then splitting the layer again and creating a background.
I now have 2 people wanting to dissolve one after the other but I am not sure how to cut them individually from the clip and then make them dissolve.
Hopefully my explanation makes sense and someone can help me with, what is probably a very simple fix.
I look forward to hearing from anyone??
Cheers
John
You can Use masks to cut each child. So:
Layer1 - child #1 masked
Layer2 - child #2 masked
layer3 - all others
layer4 - clean bg

Many thanks for your reply. Would I need to duplicate the clip and mask them out individual on each layer?
When I try an create the BG it seems to keep a copy of all the footage. I have been looking at masking on Youtube but the issue is that none of the tuts I have seen resemble the task I am attempting.
Many thanks for taking the time to reply.
