All of a sudden, while trying to set up a print operation from the Print tab, Lightroom goes to the import dialog. If you cancel it, the dialog disappears momentarily then reappears. Then if you terminate the program and wait a while, then restart it, it goes right back to the Import dialog. You cannot cancel it, stop it or prevent it from going ti Import. Totally useless now since I can't work with my catalogs, libraries, develop or print.
Buggy, Buggy, Buggy. Clearly not tested before release (Lightroom 6.7).
Hi Wmcole,
Adding to JustShootMe's suggestion, also update to the latest version of Lightroom 6.8 following Keeping Lightroom Up-to-Date and let us know if that helps.

Shut down LR and your computer. Disconnect any external drives you have connected to the system then restart your computer then LR and test.
Also in the LR preferences on the General Tab make sure "Show import dialog when a memory card is detected" is not checked.

The update appears to have fixed the problem. I had to find the update download online since Lightroom 6.7 didn't find it from the Help->Updates menu item. Very strange...
Anyway, it appears to have stopped randomly getting stuck in Import mode.
Thanks.
